Privacy policy
This page covers the karnets.ca website. It does not describe data handling inside the Karnet platform itself, which is governed by each client company’s service agreement.
What this site collects
Only what you type into the demonstration request form: your name, your company, a number of drivers, your email, and your phone if you give it. Nothing else. The site sets no cookies. It does count its visits — see “Audience measurement” below.
Why
To call you back about your request. This information is neither sold, rented, nor passed to a third party for marketing.
For how long
Twelve months after the last exchange, then deleted. If you become a client, your contact details move under the service agreement and this policy stops applying to them.
Audience measurement
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count its visits: which pages are viewed, the country, the browser type, and the page you arrived from. It sets NO cookies, assigns you no identifier, and does not follow you from site to site. The figures are aggregated: they say how many people came, never who.
Protection against automated submissions
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the submission comes from a person. That service receives your IP address and technical signals from your browser, never the contents of the form.
Where it is hosted
The site is served by Cloudflare’s network. Messages sent through the form arrive by email in a mailbox kept in Canada.
Who operates this site
Karnet is a product of Bjija Inc., a company being incorporated in Québec. The person accountable for the protection of personal information can be reached at [email protected]: that is where access, correction and deletion requests go, and the address is monitored. The head office address and the Québec enterprise number will be added to this page as soon as incorporation is done.
Your rights
Under Law 25 you may request access to your information, its correction, or its deletion. Write to [email protected]: requests are handled within thirty days.
